In the last book, Leruhs went on a hunt to claim a bounty issued by the king on a mysterious monster that killed the prince. He followed the beast's trail to find out that it's actually a demon! He doesn't care anyway and takes on the challenge and after one long fight, Leruhs kills the demon, sending it back to where all demons reside, the moon. After this encounter he finds a possibly cursed and oozing wound on his shoulder, he immediately bandages it up and heads to the Grave keeper of Brass Bark to examine his injury. Will this just be another scar on Leruhs? Or much, much more?
